Seacoast Youth Services offers a wide and expanding range of services for schools. The programs outlined below target both middle and high school students and are designed to help support students in the school setting. Project Alert – This model drug prevention program teaches middle school students essential refusal skills and alternatives to drug involvement and other unhealthy behaviors. School Based Mentoring – In this program, student interns are matched with middle school students to provide one-on-one “coaching” of life skills, decision-making, and healthy choices. Boys and Girls Support Groups – We give students the opportunity to meet in a group setting to discuss gender-specific issues that all middle schoolers face. |
