Jessica Cormier
MSW, LICSW

Jessica joined Seacoast Youth Services in July 2024, bringing with her extensive clinical and case management experience across medical, school, and community-based settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Keene State College and her Master’s in Social Work from University of New Hampshire.
Prior to joining SYS, Jessica worked for three years as a school-based social worker in Seabrook, supporting students and families in navigating academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges. Before her work in schools, she spent nearly a decade as a supervisor in emergency and inpatient medical social work, where she developed deep expertise in crisis intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration, and complex discharge planning. She has also worked in case management roles within local homeless shelters and community health centers, further strengthening her knowledge of community resources and systems at both local and state levels.
Jessica brings a broad and well-rounded clinical perspective to her work, grounded in trauma-informed care and a compassionate understanding of diverse and complex family structures. She has received training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), an evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment model that strengthens the caregiver-child relationship and supports healing following stressful or traumatic experiences. This specialized training enhances her ability to support young children and their caregivers in building secure, resilient relationships.
Outside of work, Jessica is a proud mom of two boys who keep her active and inspired. She enjoys spending time outdoors in all seasons with her family, exploring new places. She especially loves camping and hiking in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine, and she values time spent entertaining friends, hosting gatherings, and bringing people together.
